Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: email address and, optionally, your name.
• Billing records: plan, status and payment identifiers held by our payment processor.
• Licence data: your keys, activation dates and a device fingerprint per activated Mac.
• Basic diagnostics: app version, macOS version and crash reports.

What we never collect

Your video, audio and image files stay on your Mac. We do not upload, scan or store the media in your projects, and we do not train models on your work.

Why we process it

To run your account, issue and validate licences, take payment, provide support and fix crashes. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Processors

We use a payment processor for card payments, an email provider for transactional mail and a cloud hosting provider for the website, database and asset storage. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

Retention

Account and licence records are kept while your account exists, and billing records for as long as tax law requires. Diagnostics are kept for 90 days.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time by writing to privacy@studiocut.ai. Deleting your account revokes all licence keys.

Cookies

The website uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set.
