Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the StudioCut application, the studiocut.ai website and the StudioCut asset library. By downloading or using StudioCut you accept them.
2. Licence
StudioCut grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the application. A Pro licence key may be activated on up to three Macs that you own or control. You may not share, resell or publish licence keys.
3. Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future charges; Pro features remain available until the end of the paid period.
4. Asset library
Assets provided in the library are licensed to you for use inside your own video productions, commercial or otherwise, worldwide and in perpetuity. You may not redistribute assets on their own, resell them, or include them in a competing asset library or template marketplace.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the footage, audio and projects you create. StudioCut does not claim ownership of your work and does not upload your media unless you explicitly ask it to.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with licence enforcement.
- Do not use StudioCut to produce unlawful material.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or overload our services.
7. Warranty and liability
StudioCut is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Questions: legal@studiocut.ai.
